The Story So Far
Rod's living story is a bridge: son of Palmer and Signe, father of Scott, Kristin, and Amy, keeper of oral memory, and a source-backed participant in science education.
The family archive already treats Rod as the person who remembered Palmer's stories in detail. Those memories connect the electric lines, cooperative work, farm machinery, model-building, Rugby, and Minot to the later digital archive.
The AIP source adds a public professional thread: Rodney Stadum as co-author of "Bragg Diffraction of Microwaves" in American Journal of Physics. This belongs in the living story because it changes the shape of the person page. Rod is not only a memory source; he also has a source-backed intellectual and scientific record.
