The Charter

Organized in 1937, the cooperative was established by local farmers who saw that large private utility companies would never string lines to their remote properties.

"To generate, manufacture, purchase, acquire and accumulate electric energy for its members and to transmit, distribute, furnish, sell and dispose of such electric energy..."
